All you can(not) eat sushi - Adventures in Quebec

I originally posted this story on a friends wall but I think its funny enough to share.

So I went to an all you can eat sushi place. All the sushi, entrees and apps you can eat for $22. Sounds great right? well not really. Since it was all you can eat, I got so excited that I ordered a shit load of rolls and when they arrived I couldn’t have been happier. I ate and ate and all of a sudden that damn rice started bloating in my belly. During the ordering process a vital part of the “all you can eat” fine print got lost in translation due to my inability to comprehend French. I found out that the only catch to “all you can eat” is that for every piece of the roll not eaten I would have to pay $2 each on top of my bill!!! Lets just say I saved around $10 dollars and now have to get rid of my jacket since it smells like fish.

If someone knows the name of this place do tell me!

So I’ve been in Montreal, Quebec for the past week and had the chance to walk around in the old part of Montreal this past weekend. I got the chance to check out a small French place called “Marche De La Villette”.

The servers were very friendly and recommended I try the French Onion soup which turned out to some of the best that I’ve ever had!
